With minimalist decor and baristas trained to never leave drinks unattended, Espressongso has drawn curious crowds and media attention once again. “We don't want to just serve coffee, but to also serve trust, one cup at a time,” Jessica quipped in a recent media interview, adding, “this is about second chances... and second shots of espresso.”

Interestingly, Jessica Wongso isn’t the only former courtroom celebrity to pivot into caffeine. Past high-profile names like Bali ex-terror suspect Umar Patek have also found a surprising second chance behind the espresso machine.
