Why Ngaco News?
Two reasons. First, in a world saturated with 24/7 (supposedly unbiased) news cycles and clickbait negativity, humor is sometimes the best way to get to the truth. It shines a light on the things that are suppressed, ignored or just plain weird. There are some surprising facts and information in our articles, and hopefully they'll make you more informed and learn of the truth. And who knows, maybe some of them will accidently become real one day. Look at the Babylon Bee, a famous parody news site, where nearly 100 articles of theirs came true!
And the second reason?
Second and most importantly, you need a break. Real news, however vital and important, is sometimes an overdoes of negativity designed to keep you scrolling. It's just one slice of the world, but we're here to remind you that news can also be funny. The seriousness of the news talk and world actually makes it ripe for parody. So we try to remind you that the world isn't just a grim picture painted by the news but it can also be funny and weird.
What's the big idea?
Half the joke is also just how we present the news - a very serious format for very silly content. Some articles will make you laugh; many will be absolutely terrible (they're probably our favorites though!). Ultimately, if we can give you just a small laugh amidst the chaos of the world, we've done our job. Thanks for joining us for the fun (but without irony, please read our legal disclaimer).
